Eden House had three standalone, disjointed websites which needed to be refreshed, made responsive and professionally represent them as one of the leading SAP providers in the UK. Included in the project was a new Intranet development which was to be locked down for internal use only to allow internal and field staff to share documentation, knowledge, reviews and diaries.
A very detailed roadmap was set out, detailing the specifics of each site and phase. Phase 1 consisted of transferring like for like content over to a fresh, new, responsively designed website. The resources have been throughly considered and is now a highly useable tool required for a market leading SAP supplier. Edenhouse have also teamed up with our preferred SEO partner for ongoing help, support and advice.
All images were heavily compressed with a focus on retaining quality. All external scripts were minified and merged, and caching was set up, again helping trim precious seconds off page load time.
A fixed menu was developed that only appears when the user is scrolling up the page. This helps maximise the viewing area when the user is viewing the main content.
To allow flexibility when adding content layouts with interchangeable sections and blocks were developed to allow the client to custom-build their pages in a structured way.
A bespoke menu was designed to accommodate the range of products and services our client offer. It was important the menu interface was easy to use, whilst featuring content that was multiple levels deep in the site structure.
Continued support is offered, where we work with our client offering suggestions and advice on how to further enhance their web presence. New features and functionality continue to be implemented as the site is developed.
