November Days
November is home to many national awareness days over here and across the pond.
We have rounded up our favourite days – are you going to join with these special days?
Zero tasking day – 2nd November:
This is the day that is dedicated to making sure that the extra hour gained when the clocks are changed is put to good use – an hour on this day of relaxing; reading, shopping, surfing the net – whatever chills you out!
Job action day – 3rd November:
Bringing CV’s back up to date, searching the internet, and now LinkedIn for potential new jobs, job action day is that day when you can look forward to the future and your career. And if you are happy in your current job, job action day can always be used to ask for a pay rise; just make sure you have a good case for it!
Small business day – 24th November:
Small business day actively encourages people to shop, outsource and work with small businesses in the local area. Small businesses are vital to the world and provide a lot of great services; think of your local butcher, hairdresser or even your local friendly design agency! 😉
Electronics greeting day – 29th November:
All about fully embracing the tech world, electronics greeting day is when for the day, month or longer if you want, you send birthday messages or anniversary cards via the computer – rather than with a traditional card and stamp. Alternatively, you can use the day to drop someone an email, rather than a work based email. Everyone love receiving emails
Computer security day – 30th November:
Every business and individual that uses a computer should make sure that they have adequate internet and computer security protection. Using this day to make sure that your protection is up to date, changing any passwords that have stayed the same for a while as well as having a bit of a computer tidy up, is perfect practice for having a safe and healthy computer environment to work with.
